Privacy Policy
Scope of This Privacy Policy
Boon AI Inc. ("Boon," "we," "us") provides a trust layer for B2B commerce: software that helps buyers and sellers move from claims to evidence using agent-to-agent workflows, connected tools, trust scoring, and human review. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to boon.ai, our web applications, and related services (together, the "Services").
Information You Provide Directly
- Account details — name, work email, company, role, and password or single-sign-on identifiers.
- Profile and company information — details you add to your company profile, team settings, and preferences.
- Content — messages, notes, evidence you upload, and feedback you submit through forms or support channels.
- Commercial information — billing contacts and subscription details where applicable.
Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Services we automatically collect log and device information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, feature interactions, referring URLs, and timestamps. We use this data to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
Information Received Through Integrations and Customers
You may connect third-party tools (for example CRM, email, calendar, messaging, document, or support systems). We access connected tools only with the permissions you grant and use the data to provide the Services. We may also receive limited information about you from a Boon customer — for example, your name and work contact details when your organization adds you to its workspace.
How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
- Build the trust summaries, scores, and workflow outputs you request.
- Communicate with you about the Services, security, and support.
- Protect against fraud, abuse, and security risks.
- Comply with legal obligations.
AI and Automated Processing
Boon uses AI systems to gather, organize, and summarize evidence from sources you connect. In doing so:
- AI outputs are presented as explainable summaries with cited sources, and material actions are subject to human review.
- We process connected-tool data to answer the specific trust questions you raise, not for unrelated purposes.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use your confidential business data to train models made available to other customers without your explicit agreement.
Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as light or dark theme), measure site performance, and understand how visitors use our pages. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit functionality.
How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Services, with third-party tools you choose to connect at your direction, within your organization’s workspace as configured by your team, and where required to comply with law or protect the rights, safety, and security of Boon, our users, or others.
Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access to connected tools. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Disconnecting an integration stops future collection from that source.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at legal@boon.ai. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
International Users
Boon is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from other regions, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data-protection laws. Where required, we use approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-Party Services
The Services may contain links to, or work alongside, third-party websites and products that Boon does not control. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. Integration availability may change if third-party APIs change.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by posting the updated policy on this page and revising the "Last Updated" date, and where appropriate by additional notice.
Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
